Here are a few of my favorite PC games. Many of them are clones of arcade or VGA games. Most of them are freeware or shareware. I hope you like them; I certainly do!

Put the balls into rows. Customizable preferences and other features. |
Block Master by Sergei Gussev |
A very fun tetris clone. Many diffent modes including "Small'n'Hard" and "Don't kill the Insects!". A must if you like tetris. |
Bomber Man by Christian Pühringer |
A 2-4 player game. Play using keyboard or joystick. Different modes including team or capture the flag. Graphics are OK. |
This game is written in German, so it's a bit difficult to get used to, but it's a very fun two-player game. |

Boogaloopers by John Marris of Stick Man Games |
This is a very fun game. It comes as shareware. You move your mouse to "loop" space aliens called Boogas. A wide variety of difficulty levels. Great graphics. Excellent sound and animation. |
Bricks 2000 v1.0 by the Delphi Box |
Very much like the original Tetris in levels and scoring. Pieces are not color-coded. Very good layout. Sidebar contains pause button, next piece display, and customizable options. I like the graphics. |
Clickomania by Matthias Schüssler |
A Tetris-like game. Use your mouse to remove the blocks. Very difficult to remove them all. An undo button is included. Addicting. |
DX-Ball by Vladimir Mahlin of WebStone Software |
A great Arkanoid clone. This game is extremely fun and very difficult. I have no complaints with this great game. |
Flaps by Soleau Software |
Use your mouse to change the flaps and make the ball fall into the right spot. Very colorful and well done. |
Galaxi by Kurt W. Dekker |
A Galaxian clone. This game is remake of the original. This shareware evaluation version allows you to play the first three levels. A must if you're into arcade-style PC games. |
Impede by Louis DeSetto of L.D. Software |
Move the snake around the blocks and eat all the balls, but keep from eating your tail as you get longer. Lots of fun to try and beat your old score. |
PC*bert by J. Rowan |
A remake of an old classic. There's a very nice scrolling message in the About menu. I've always liked this game with its increasing complexity and 3D view. |
Shidao by Stephen & Barbara Tune |
Put the tiles on the board following certain rules. Try to set it up to put one in a spot sourrounded by four others. There is a slight bug that messes with the high scores, but otherewise it is great. |
SK-111 'Star Killer' II by W. Mike Hare. |
A fun asteroids-type game with terriffic graphics. A lasers and shields must charge, and a Turbo Boost may be used. Freeware. |
Super Pairs by Gironacci Alessandro |
Click matching cards to remove them and beat the clock. Great background sound, and very addicting. |
Tetrix99 by Bela von Hoffmann of NiceTime Entertainment |
A fun Tetris clone. You can upload your scores to a server. There is no shortcut key for pause, and you can only rotate the pieces clockwise. Good colors, and a lot of fun. |
WinBlock v1.11 by Stephen Han |
A unique tetris idea. Place the pieces down from above to remove layers. This 3D viewpoint is very challenging. No high scores. Freeware. |
E-mail me with the name of a game you would like me to try. Use the header "Game Suggestion".
If I like it I'll add it to this list.
